Our program is ideal for people that want to learn tower crane operations but do not have the time to be on a full year’s course. We teach theories on a computer and on a simulator for a faster absorption of the theory part of the training.
The practical part of the training is done on our tower cranes next to our training facility in Pretoria.
When doing onsite practical training on customer’s tower cranes we bring our own onsite instructor with us. We teach on both Liebherr and Link-belt tower cranes .The courses are available from R600 , depending on group size and complexity of the course.

Training starts with the basics of crane theory and operations. It then moves onto tip load calculations, rigging and hoisting ropes, rigging of tower cranes, set-up of a crane, inspection checks and various operational testing, including a simulated installation at a crane site where the trainee will have to establish rigging direction, establish a safe working area, erect a tower crane with a simulated load for a performance test and simulate a disassembly operation.
