Truck Mounted Cranes – also known as Mobile Cranes – are designed to used on a truck or trailer, making them easy to transport from one location to another. When it comes to training, you need to know exactly what you’re doing because this type of crane can be extremely dangerous.
In order to become a Truck Mounted Crane Operator, you will need to attend specialised training from an accredited training provider.
This form of training is carried out by Denotech Training, where you will be able to learn everything there is to know about this type of machinery and how it should be used safely.
Denotech Training is accredited to offer this Course by The Department of Labour and is approved by National Department of Transport (N.D.T.) in terms of the Transport Services Act, 1993 No.96 of 1993 which states that “No person shall utilize any Road Vehicle on any Public Road unless he/she has obtained a valid driving permit”.
The driving permit is issued by N.D.T. after ascertaining that the applicant has successfully completed the appropriate safety training course before applying for the driving permit, thus reducing the risk of injury and death to both the driver and the general public.
The Denotech Training Team also provide Operator Level I & II Drill & Skilled Operator training (SKS) Courses for all types of Heavy Equipment (Truck Mounted Cranes included), Excavators, Graders, Loaders, Tractors ect… Our experienced trainers are certified by the department of labor to conduct all administrative procedures related to GATS (Government Authorized Third Party Safety Assessors).Each student receives training manuals, technical manuals, Question books, skill test forms and video tapes relating to each course.
Tools are made available for students during practical training sessions. All equipment used is in good working condition and it is tested on a regular basis to ensure safety of our clients and also to ensure that our clients get good value for their money.
